I had some great news this week! I have been working since Christmas break on a personal goal that I am excited to say I just met this week. I have lost 20 pounds since Christmas on Weight Watchers. I am excited because it has not been easy, and I have suffered from health related problems because of the weight. I made a decision that I was going to do something about it. I had been successful on the Weight Watchers program many years ago, so I went back at Christmas just after classes ended for the break and I re-joined. I have been working on my goal since then. For the past few months I have posted my progress on Facebook in hopes that I could also inspire others that they too could to lose the weight if they wanted to. I found several friends who have been on the program/or are on the program and it was fun having a support group. I am surprised that more people don't ask me about my weight loss because I have lost two and almost three dress sizes. I feel so much better! Folks I enjoy success stories, so please tell me yours.

I'm very happy for you, this is great news. I totally understand the struggle of weight loss. Great Job!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I understand; I joke with people and say that I lose the same 25 pounds every year. So, I have lost 15 but know I really should keep going. It is very hard to find time for a workout or even a walk while going to school FT and working FT.
ReplyDeleteI understand and I'm not working out yet because I simply don't have time. I will go back to my workouts after I am out of school in December. Good job on the 15 pounds, because it's really not easy.
ReplyDeleteCongrats. I wish weight was as easy to lose as it is to gain.
ReplyDeleteGood job, that is awesome! My mom has lost 60 pounds this last year and it was not easy, but she was so determined! You should feel very proud!

ReplyDeleteCongrats! I know how hard it can be. I'm currently down 60 lbs. in two years. It's a tough road, but it feels so good once you get there. Keep it up!
