Looking forward to a long weekend.  Even if I have some homework at least I'm off work. This morning my husband left on his long bike ride with his brother down into Arkansas, and my family is getting ready to head out and come stay with me. I am really looking forward to the visit because I have not seen them for months. I wish our weather wasn't going to be so hot, but I guess you can't have everything perfect.

    One constant about KC whether is humidity in the summer. It is brutal. I guess it is something we get used to and try to combat it. Misting fans is a great example of this. They seems like a way to stay cool but you always end up soaked. One or the other I believe.

    It's always fun to have family come in and visit. The only downsize is you have to clean up after everyone.
